de la firme GEBRÜDER
LINK (Giegen/Brenz,
Allemagne), et son frère (l'un de ses collaborateurs) sont venus visiter l'orgue
historique LINK de Boussu-Bois, en compagnie de François-Xavier
Grandjean et Pierre Lauwers, membres du forum
Organographia. A l'unanimité, ils ont estimé
que l'instrument de 1893 est dans un état de conservation miraculeuse! Même les pédales du souffleur sont encore en place. La tuyauterie, certes encrassée, est dans un état de
conservation remarquable, sans doute très proche de l'harmonisation d'origine.
Selon Pierre Lauwers, on est très loin d'un instrument construit à
l'économie.
